Levels of Cheer and Tumbling
Cheer and tumbling are very hard sports. It involves physical contact and stretching abilities. Below you will find examples of the various levels of cheer and tumbling.

Tumbling
Tumbling is a main part of a cheer routine. It involves flipping frontwards, backwards, side to side, and traveling with your hands on the ground.

This is a level 1 skill. It is a cartwheel. Lots of people love these.

This is a level 2 skill. This is a backhand spring. This was one of my favorite skills to learn.

This is a level 3 skill. This is a back tuck. This is my favorite skill of all time because its the first skill I learned that was backward with out hands.

This is a level 4 skill. It is a layout. This is a harder skill because you have to stay tight the whole way through.

This is a level 5 skill. This is a full. One of the hardest skills I know of. It is hard because you do a layout and twirl at the same time.
Stunts
Stunts are made up of bases, flyers, and back spots. Bases are the ones holding your feet while you stand in a upright position. A back spot is the main person who holds you up and does most of the work. A flyer is the one in the air usually pulling stretches or standing tight.

This is a level 1 stunt. It is a basic prep and almost every level uses it.

Stretches
There are certain stretches that you pull while you are in a one leg stunt. Here are a few.

This is a scale. One of my favorite stretches.

This is a scorpion. This is my favorite skill because of how cool it looks when you're flying.

This is a needle. It is one of the harder skills to get.

This is a heel stretch and it is a basic skill that most teams use.

This is a bow and arrow. This is also a basic skill that most teams use.
Jumps
There are also many kinds of jumps and I will show you a few.

This is a tuck jump. Most teams don't use it because it's a basic skill.

This is a pike jump. You normally jump to the side when you do this jump.

This is a toe touch. Every team uses this jump.
